There are many factors influencing the flatness of low iron tempered glass, but they mainly come from three aspects: horizontal and jumping of transmission, uniformity of heating and uniformity of cooling, and technical analysis and explanation of these three problems are carried out respectively.

1.1 water level of the silicon roller

Generally speaking, when the installation of the steel furnace is completed, the water level of the silicon roll is very good, which can reach less than or less than 0.5mm with the optical level meter. However, in the future use process, with the change of various factors, the water level may gradually deteriorate, and it is better to check and measure once every half a year. If the water level of the silicon roll is not good and there is deviation in the front, middle, back, left and right parts of the furnace, it will have a great influence on the uniformity of the conduction and heating of the lower surface of the glass, thus affecting the deformation of the glass. Secondly, the uneven height of the silicon roller will directly affect the deformation of the glass, especially when the glass surface is soft.

1.2 the beating of the silicon roller

The silicon roll of the horizontal steel furnace is made of fused quartz or ceramic material, which has good heat resistance, shock resistance and thermal stability. The thermal deformation of silicon rollers will inevitably cause the bending of the rollers and the jumping when rotating. In addition, the loosening of metal heads at both ends of silicon rollers will also cause the jumping of silicon rollers, leading to the deformation of glass when moving on the beating silicon rollers. Under normal circumstances, the radial beat of the silicon roller should be less than 0.2mm.
